How to create themes for the nokia C3

click on the program to download it

1. install carbide.ui 

2. download the plug-in save this somewhere 

3. download C3 template.rar and extract this file in some folder 

4. open Carbide.ui and do like in this pictures:

go to window and click Preferences

                                          

                                  

5. go to plug-in manegement an choose add. and then browse and go to the directory you saved the plug-in, select the .zip file and open:

   

when this is done you click install the plug-in:

 

so you will get this :

 

6. click ok and close the program and open again and click create theme:

 

Choose copy an existing theme and then browse...

 

and go to the directory where you extract C3 template and choose in these folder theme.xml like this:

Open and then click finish:

and you will get this:

7. Make sure you change the plugin inti Compat plugin. Because, if you con’t change the plugin, the theme won’t work well.

7. Now you can start creating theme, don’t worry about the display, even it’s in 240×340 instead 320×240, it doesn’t matter, because I’ve created this template with precision for Nokia C3.

8.When you finish, package the theme by choosing Tools – Create New Package. 

9. you are ready!!!   ;)
